Before practice
Freezer cutlets dressed up into real chicken parm sliders the whole table fights over.
The oven does almost everything while you warm the sauce and toast the buns.

Timing Before Practice

- T-minus 30: bake the frozen cutlets to 165F
- T-minus 10: add sauce and cheese, melt, toast the buns
- T-minus 3: assemble the sliders and serve
Make It Ahead or Save Leftovers
The cutlets reheat well, so leftovers turn into an easy second dinner.
- Bake the cutlets ahead and reheat in a 375F oven to stay crisp
- Keep buns and sauce separate so nothing turns soggy
- Chop a leftover cutlet over pasta with marinara the next day
- Serve with: a green salad, steamed green beans
Parent Tip
Always check the cutlets hit 165F at the thickest point before topping with cheese.
Make It Fit Tonight
Small Tweaks That Help This Dinner Land
Make a sub
Use a hoagie roll instead of slider buns for a bigger, shareable sandwich.
Add pesto
Smear a little pesto on the bun before the cutlet for a herby lift.
Go saucy
Serve extra warm marinara on the side for dipping.
Skip the bun
Plate the cutlets over pasta or alone for a lower-bread dinner.
Use chicken nuggets
Frozen nuggets work for younger kids; just sauce and cheese them the same way.
